Ok, I got my maps working, music etc on iOS 9.1. One thing for sure I dont think anyone has covered. Make sure that you use a apple certified cable or youll have issues. I learned this the hard way. Maps on the screen cant complete with my iPhone 6+s screen and I dont expect it to. It does the job though. My playlists work fine, as does Pandora. Im toying with the apps and making discoveries every day. I have the 2700 pioneer model. In a nutshell, its a good product and the most important thing, my music, sounds good.

Needs more apps so I dont keep going back to my phone. Also a bit glitchy, stops responding at times.

Seriously, this app is more dangerous because of these confirmation dialogs for EVERYTHING! It is pure neglect on the part of pioneer to make users fiddle with their liability protection measures with driving. They could allow configurations so we can select apps that launch without confirmations, but for some reason they continue to neglect consumer safety. I think early app radio users need to just file a class action. This product was half baked and there dev team just cant keep up with the iPhone updates which happen only twice a year, and makes their product an expensive price of junk. I am nervous every time I update this app it may render my HU useless. I have opted out of this update for that very reason. I dont understand why they dont just appease their iPhone app radio customers by adding apple CarPlay instead of bumbling around to make their flawed software try to work with every iteration of iOS, but ironically less functional AND LESS SAFE! Finally the lack of support for, or integration with, Spotify is appalling as it has huge market share in the streaming music service. Do yourself a favor avoid pioneer radios until they prove they take these complaints seriously, and fix them already!

Music stops playing when opening map apps, Waze no longer shows up on screen, and the unit now does not mirror my phone unless the parking brake is engaged.

I purchased SPH-DA210 Some of the apps dont work, waze resize(which I use a lot). This just just a crap. Pioneer wont upgrade their products often. My opinion DONT BUY IT. You will encounter too many problems and they wont help you.

Very inconsistent app. Bluetooth constantly disconnects while switching apps which causes my screen to go black. Not cool when driving and trying to navigate. I have to constantly switch between waze and the music player to skip songs because the skip buttons on the radio do not work in app mode.

This update has caused my iPhone 5s with IOS 8.4 to stop working. Non of the apps show on the radio and mirror screen does not work either. Please Pioneer release another update.

I cant believe how screwed up this product is its actually a hazard while driving you have to tinker with it so much constantly crashing constantly doing inconsistent things this product should not be on the market I am furious how in inept this product is. I will never buy a pioneer product again.

The apps was one of the big reasons I bought the deck. I love my deck but this app is useless only three apps to choose from. I was told I could use waze which I cannot so.

It just stopped working. I can still use the other apps and control it through my screen. This needs to be resolved quick. How do you still make and sell Pioneer radios with this app as one of the features but yet it doesnt work like it should. I like my AppRadio but since I updated to an iPhone 5 Ive had issues. Cant listen to the radio while using Waze like I was able to before. If I try to tap an application to launch it, it will sometimes start to shake the apps like when you want to move it to another part of the screen. They should have a small clock on top of the home screen. Once they fix it Ill give it 5 stars again

This app is absolute garbage. Can not use while using any other app. Connection always suddenly stops. Pioneer never updates firmware or app. I wish I could use car play with my pioneer head unit but we are stuck with this garbage. Will never buy another pioneer product again.

I use to be able to watch live tv, Netflix, live sports from my phone to the radio, but keeps saying not supported. Never had issues until now. I would like a new radio... that is NOT a Pioneer please!!!

No good features, 3 apps that are pointless. Pioneer needs to spend some money on app developers before releasing a kindergarten toy equivalent app.

Ive had very poor luck getting my AVIC-8000NEX to do anything more with my iPhone than play iTunes and make calls. I did everything I was directed to do, including downloading this worthless app, and nothing works. The video tutorial inspired hope, but--zip. This doesnt work at all.

This does not work with the sph-da120.

It has been really annoying dealing with this app. Like what others mentioned, music stops playing when waze is on. I would have to keep reseting pandora for the sound to come out when playing, blue tooth consistently getting disconnected. It does not always mirror my phone and it keeps saying not supported. We all invested in our Pioneer Decks and expect to get what was advertised to us. This app is not new and been around quite a while. At least fix the errors and read the reviews. Thats what the reviews are for and yet nothing is being done to correct it.

This app is horrible and doesn’t seem to do anything at all. It simply does not interface with my new AVH-4100NEX and documentation indicates that it should

This app has been around for a while. Its had updates , problems with phones and problems connecting. Yet you do nothing to solve any of these problems. Sorry but I will be deleting the apps that I have downloaded from you. Im debating on returning my deck to for one that the company actually updates
